How the story goes...

Years ago, a little concrete truck was left behind in a junkyard and
forgotten. His paint was cracked, his tyres were flat, and his old
engine had seen better days.

Then one ordinary morning, a builder named Mike and a dog named L.C. found him — and decided he deserved another chance.

The big trucks laughed. Even the little concrete truck wasn’t sure he
could do it. But when a job came along that no one else could reach it —
not the big trucks, not even Berty the crane — somebody had to try.

The Little Concrete Truck is a story about being underestimated,
getting a second chance, and discovering that the size of the truck has
nothing to do with the size of the job it can do.

Based on a true story

This isn’t a made-up truck in a made-up town. The Little Concrete Truck is inspired by a true story from Wānaka, New Zealand.

Written by a builder who knows a thing or two about taking on big jobs,
it’s a story inspired by real experiences, second chances, and the
simple idea that being small doesn’t mean you can’t do something big.
